Chenzhou City took the initiative to dock with Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, giving full play to its advantages adjacent to Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and actively docking with Greater Bay Area in terms of tourism policy, resources, transportation and passenger sources. They organized and invited nearly 500 Hong Kong tourists to visit Mangshan Mountain for free on the "Hunan-Hong Kong" special train. A series of tourism preferential policies for tourists for Greater Bay Area were introduced to attract tourists.

Gao Yangxian, Deputy Director of Provincial Culture and Tourism Department, introduced that this event was the first international cultural tourism festival held since the integration of Hunan culture and tourism. It will focus on six elements of cultural tourism industry, namely, food, housing, transportation, travel, shopping, entertainment, and new formats, which will stretch the industrial chain and further stimulate cultural and tourism consumption potential.

During the festival, Mangshan Scenic Area introduced a series of preferential policies, including: from September 20 to 28, half-price discounts on admission tickets for all tourists; RMB 30/person for Yizhang County residents; RMB 30/person for Chenzhou City residents; free of admission tickets, sightseeing cars and cable car fees for Hunan-Hong Kong Special Tour Mangshan Team; half-price discount on admission tickets for all visitors from October 8 to November 8. In addition, visitors from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao who stay in Huatian Hotel and other hotels in Chenzhou City can enjoy half-price discount.
